Early time entry & approval deadline is Monday
Due to the upcoming holiday, there is an early time and absence deadline for Student Employees, LTE and Classified Permanent
staff. Time and/or absence for hours worked May 6-May 19 must be entered by noon on Friday, May 18, and approved by 10 a.m., Monday, May 21. The system will be locked and payroll will be calculated on Tuesday, May 22. If time is not entered and approved by
10 a.m. On May 21, the employee will not be paid. Contact

Seeking nominations for Chancellor's recognition awards for classified and academic staff
Honoring outstanding service to the university is an important UW-River Falls tradition. Nominations for the Chancellor’s
Recognition Award for Classified Staff and the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence for Academic Staff are being accepted through Friday, June 15. Details of the nomination process are available at http://www.uwrf.edu/awards/.
The announcement of recipients of the awards will be made in fall 2012. We have many outstanding, dedicated individuals at UWRF; please support these individuals through your thoughtful nominations. --Dean Van Galen

Memorial service for Wayne Wolfe is Monday
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at the First Congregational United
Church of Christ, 110 N. 3rd St., River Falls, for former UWRF vice chancellor M. Wayne Wolfe, age 93, who died May 6. Wayne is credited with starting the Journalism Department at River Falls State Teacher's College in the 1950s, having

family prefers that memorials be directed to First Congregational United Church of Christ or to the M. Wayne and Marian Wolfe Journalism Scholarship at the UWRF Foundation. Please join the university community in extending sincere condolences to the family.
