Freddy approves of road construction progress

In a recent siting, Freddy Falcon gives a thumbs up to the Cascade Avenue construction project near North Hall. Work continues this week on storm sewer installation from Fourth to Second Street. Work on the Second Street roundabout walls has begun, and continued work on the east-west leg of the steam tunnel and chilled water running in front of North Hall is underway. Classified staff performance evaluations due June 1

Groundbreaking ceremony set for Eco Village
The Eco Village Sustainable Neighborhood project, planned in conjunction with the UWRF St. Croix Institute for Sustainable Community Development,  is ready to celebrate the next phase of development with a ground breaking ceremony at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14. The event provides the opportunity to learn about the eco-village from the staff team, community partners, and habitat homeowners.
