New venue for announcing student achievements
UW-River Falls is now using readabout.me from readMedia to
publicize student achievements and activities on campus. This program helps University Communications streamline large press releases for hometown papers for items like enrollment, Dean's List, graduation, etc. and also allows students to get credit for the
achievements and activities they are involved with on campus through an online profile they can use for jobs, internships, and references after graduation. To have these items published, departments, faculty members,
or student organizations provide University Communications with a brief description of the item they would like to recognize students for along with an Excel spreadsheet listing of students who have earned the accomplishment. To
download the Excel spreadsheet template, learn more about how this program works and how you can recognize students, or to watch a brief video tutorial, visit http://go.uwrf.edu/readMedia. For
additional questions, contact amy.christensen-1@uwrf.edu or call 3787.
Free plastic letter trays
The UW-River Falls Foundation Call Center has about 20 black plastic letter
