Classified employment transfer
opportunity for Custodian
100 percent (Pay Schedule 03, Pay Range 08), Residential Services, 6
a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, annually. The deadline for
submitting a request is 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 30. If interested,

description for specific duties and knowledge, skills, and abilities.
To apply, complete a Job Transfer Request found at http://www.uwrf.edu/hr/forms/JOB%20TRANSFER%20REQUESHCWEB.pdf.
The recruiting process on campus for Custodian is as follows: 1.
Interested individuals whose classification is identical to the title
of the vacancy are contacted in seniority order to interview (i.e., a
current Custodian for a Custodian vacancy). 2. If no one in the same
title is interested, then interested individuals in the same or higher
pay range are considered; however, it is management's option to
interview prior to obtaining the outside list or to consider as
additional names to the outside list.
Female faculty athletic representative.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Wisconsin
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) require each member
institution to have a Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR).
The FAR position representing UWRF women’s athletics is currently
vacant. The FAR representing UWRF men’s athletics is Jim Mulvey. Female
faculty members with an interest in athletics are asked to contact
Director of Athletics Rick Bowen at ext. 3246 or rick.h.bowen@uwrf.edu
for more details regarding the position. The willingness to serve,
representing the Chancellor and the Faculty Senate in an athletic
setting, is more important than extensive athletic knowledge. An
interest in UWRF athletics is assumed. The FAR works with the
Chancellor and the Director of Athletics to maintain the proper
academic/athletic balance in accordance with all NCAA and WIAC rules.
WIAC Faculty Athletic Representatives meet once a year in the Wisconsin
Dells area. There are some additional responsibilities. This is an
indefinite term, Chancellor appointed position.
Be sure to listen to WPR's arts show,

served on the steering committee for the study, conducted by
Washington, D.C.-based Americans for the Arts.
