Now you know

Ryan Stridde, a UWRF senior health and human performance major and a
residence hall assistant on campus, will assist NFL Films on Sunday as it
records the Super Bowl in Arizona.

Stridde worked with NFL Films while it was on campus this summer filming a segment on the Kansas City Chiefs Summer Training Camp for HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series and continued to offer services to NFL Films throughout the football season.

The Super Bowl opportunity came as a surprise at his home in Franklin on Thanksgiving. After the family dinner gathering, Stridde checked his e-mail. The subject line, “Super Bowl,” jumped out from an e-mail
from Jerry Mahler, the head of the audio department for NFL Films.

At training camp Stridde served as an audio production assistant, where he learned how to use different types of situational microphones, audio switches and mix boards.

During the season he set up mics on numerous players during games,
including Packers quarterback Brett Farve.

For more about Stridde's experiences, visit the UWRF News Source later today at
