There will be a brief telephone outage on November 28th, 2014, between 5AM and 6AM, to perform an upgrade of a component needed for one of the users of the phone system in North Hall.   During this brief outage no calls can be received or made, i.e. to 911.  Please make plans accordingly if you are in during this time.

 

The length of the outage on a system wide impact is expected to be less than 15 minutes during this window.  There may be further downtime for certain advanced features, most departments do not use these features and you will not notice their absence.  This will have a direct impact mostly on Technology Services inbound calls, which during this time the prompting, service outage announcement and “you are being recorded” announcements will be omitted.
