Calls from on campus to off campus via long distance are not going through on the CenturyLink long distance service network.  Dialing 8 + 1 is being blocked with an "all circuits are busy" message.

You can try dialing 9 + 1 + ten digit number instead.  This normally costs more but your call will be routed differently.  This will not work in all cases, but it may be a work around for your area.

CenturyLink is looking into the problem a this time.    We will provide updates as they are available.

Incoming calls to the campus may or may not be blocked.  This will be dependent on a number of factors between the originating caller and the campus.  Results may vary on the incoming calls.
