Pedestrian warning flashers at Cascade and Spruce malfunction
The City is experiencing problems with the pedestrian warning flashers on Cascade Avenue at Spruce Street that are causing the flashers to flash continuously or intermittently when no one is crossing the street. Service technicians are working to diagnose and fix the issue, but the malfunctioning is returning soon after resetting the system. Continuously flashing yellow lights associated with warning signs are not uncommon on roadways. These lights may be in a continuous flash mode for up to a week as the City works through diagnosing and resolving this issue.
