Board of Regents meeting

More than 175 employers coming to campus for two events
This spring, there are two job fairs being hosted on-campus bringing more than 170 organizations to campus. Career Services and Student Involvement are partnering to host The Opportunity Fair<https://www.uwrf.edu/CareerServices/EventOppFairRegisteredOrgs.cfm>, targeting students seeking part-time, summer, volunteer and on-campus jobs. The event is Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Riverview Ballroom, UC. Additionally, Career Services is hosting the 2nd Annual <http://www.uwrf.edu/CareerFair/Index.cfm> Career Fair<https://www.uwrf.edu/CareerFair/Index.cfm> <https://www.uwrf.edu/CareerFair/Index.cfm> on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Riverview Ballroom, UC. It will focus on recruiting students for full-time jobs and internships. Please encourage your students to attend both events and learn about a wide variety of opportunities to build their resumes.

The UWRF Career Fair App is now updated and ready for viewing. The App allows students to search for attending companies based upon major, work authorization, and position type. UWRF Black Student Union's 14th Annual Soul Food Dinner, Thursday, Feb. 11, 5-7 p.m., 201 Rodli Hall. The dinner features Bubba's Chicken, black eyed peas, mac and cheese, collard greens, peach cobbler, and corn bread. Tickets are on sale in the UC lobby between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. or whenever the posters are up at the vendor tables. Pre-sale tickets are $8, at the door $10; UWRF students pre-sale are $6, at the door $8. Take-out is available for $10. Open to everyone.
