Heads peer at all who pass by KFA

Ever wonder the story behind the heads on the kiln yard wall outside KFA? Randy Johnston explained that they were from a ceramics assignment in his Studio Ceramics class last spring. After being displayed in the Davee Library, they needed a new home and ended up on the wall surrounding the kiln yard peering at those who pass by. Johnston said he assigned his students to create two heads each 1.5 times life size. One was a to be of a studio mate and the other could be an exaggeration of their choice. Photo by Kathy M Helgeson.
