Welcome prospective students and their families
Admissions & New Student and Family Programs are welcoming 70 prospective students and their families to campus today. Information sessions and tours will depart from the UC throughout the day. We appreciate your support in providing a warm welcome to our guests. Today is our last College Visit Day for the semester. The next one will be Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, and should be a large event.

New Unified Communications phone system support
The specific 2000 number that was created to assist in the support of the implementation of our new phone system is being disconnected today. Please call 3687 (DoTS) for all your technology support needs. Thank you and we appreciate everyone's assistance in making the implementation successful.

Falcon Foods turkey sale
UWRF Falcon Foods is selling hickory smoked cured turkeys, completely cooked and ready to eat. Order deadline is Wednesday  Dec. 9. An order form can be found at http://www.uwrf.edu/ANFS/. Email the completed form to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Turkeys are payable at pickup by cash or check made out to Falcon Foods. Average weight is 8-11 pounds, $3.75/pound. Pickup date is  Friday, Dec. 18, between 2 and 5 p.m. in Falcon Foods Store, Food Science Addition. Please be aware that Falcon Foods entrance and parking have changed.

Male WIAC Faculty Athletic Rep needed
Reminder:  The Faculty Senate Athletic Committee is looking for candidates to replace retiring Brian Schultz as the WIAC male Faculty Athletic Representative. The appointment is  approved by the Faculty Senate and will begin spring 2016. Condolences

Please join the university community in extending our sincere condolences to the family of Russell Peterson. Russ, age 71, died Nov. 22 at Our House in River Falls. Russ work for 27 years as a custodian and a custodial lead for the residence halls at UWRF. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. at Bakken-Young Funeral Home, 805 E Division St., River Falls. Visitation is from noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
