Return keys before leaving campus
As the end of the semester approaches, faculty/staff with expiring contracts need to return UWRF keys to Facilities Management, 102 MCS. If there is a possibility that a new contract will be assigned spring or again next fall, we can hold the keys for reassignment. Student workers graduating or not employed next semester need to return keys. It is the employing department’s responsibility to recover keys before the employee departs campus. Early time approval this week
Due to the upcoming holidays, there are early time and absence deadlines for student employees, temporary employees, and university staff. If time is not entered and approved by the deadlines below, the employee will not be paid. The Nov. 29-Dec. 12 pay period must be approved by 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15. The Dec. 13-26 pay period must be approved by 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29.

Chancellor’s Holiday Reception tomorrow
Chancellor Dean and Mary Van Galen invide all students, staff, faculty and emeriti to enjoy refreshments, festive music and lively conversation at the Chancellor’s Holiday Reception on Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 2-4 p.m. in Pete’s Creek, UC. No registration required.

Space heater reminder
Reminder:  Please turn off your space heater when your office is not occupied. Space heaters are meant just for temporary, supplemental heat and must be approved by Facilities Management. If you are having trouble with sufficient heat or have not yet had your space heater inspected, submit a work order to Facilities Management as we hope to complete inspections over J-Term. Group Fitness classes to help with stress
The Group Fitness schedule for Dec. 14-17, can be found at https://www.uwrf.edu/RecreationAndSportFacilities/upload/GFit-Finals.jpg. The classes are set up to give students a study break/stress-relief from the finals week grind, and are free to UWRF students, faculty, and staff with a current UWRF ID. No pre-registration required. Participants must present their ID at the time of the class and sign a waiver before participation.

Falcon Daily schedule through J-Term
Tomorrow, Dec. 15, Falcon Daily begins its Tuesday/Thursday publication schedule through J-Term. Please plan accordingly. Submissions should be emailed by 4 p.m. the day before publication is expected.

BRIDGE For Community Life has completed another successful semester of the BRIDGE Campus Life Program at UW-River Falls thanks to participation from students and faculty from a variety of departments. This program offers young adults with disabilities a variety of never-before-available college experiences, including campus tours, engaging lessons, and recreational activities, with the goal of building a positive, lasting relationship between the BRIDGE clients and the campus community. Want to get involved? BRIDGE is looking to collaborate with students, faculty, and campus organizations to develop and participate in 30-minute sessions with BRIDGE clients throughout the Spring 2016 semester. BRIDGE clients will be attending UWRF from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the Spring 2016 semester.
