Veterans Day ceremony today at 11 a.m.
Please join us to remember and honor veterans today by attending the Annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. at the North Hall flagpoles. The Honor Guard from River Falls American Legion Post 121 will open the ceremony, followed by remarks from Chancellor Dean Van Galen and by UWRF master’s degree candidate John Taipale, formerly of the Army 2nd Ranger Battalion. All are welcome.

Sponsored by the UWRF Horticulture Society. Free and open to all.

“Ending Rape” presentation by Keith Edwards, 7 p.m. Falcon’s Nest, UC. This nationally recognized, award winning, and research proven presentation motivates men to be active in efforts to end rape and offers specific strategies and practices all of us can engage in in order to change the culture around rape on campus. During the past 15 years Edwards has spoken and consulted at more than 90 colleges and universities on sexual violence prevention, men’s identity, social justice education, curricular approaches, and leadership. Free and open to all.

Theatre Production: “Psych 101,” 7:30 p.m., Davis Theatre, KFA. The writing on the wall is telling us that the future of education is online. But one professor refuses to accept it! Join Jim Robinson as he makes one last-ditch attempt to stem the rising tide - in Psych 101. Sing along with the songs, laugh along with the sketches, and take an entire semester of Psych 101 in just 90 minutes (complete with midterm and final). Performed by Table Salt Productions, a Twin Cities Improv Troupe. All tickets $5, general admission.
