Triplet bull calves born at Mann Valley Farm

Meet Larry, Harry and Bill, Holstein triplet bull calves, born at Mann Valley Farm Thursday. Triplets born to dairy cows are rare, occurring at a rate of 1 in 105,000. All three are healthy, and mom, Colleen, (#954) is doing well. The calves are named after UW-River Falls animal science Professor Larry Baumann; Bill Connolly, director of the laboratory farms; and Harry Larsen, who works at the farm. Photo by Kathy M Helgeson.
