Unified Communications system
UWRF is in the process of implementing a Unified Communications system, part of which includes converting from our aging analog phone systems to a Voice-Over IP system. Over the coming weeks, DoTS staff will be physically deploying over 900 phones to offices and other locations across campus. This physical phone deployment will be done by building. To the best of our ability, employees will receive email notification at least 24 hours prior to delivery to and installation in their building. DoTS would appreciate your cooperation in ensuring there is available space on your desk comparable in size to your current phone. Once your new phone is delivered, please:  1) Continue to use your old phone until your new phone is made functional during the week of Nov. 9, and, 2) be aware that your old phone will be picked up in December and should remain on your desk until then. For more information about Unified Communications, visit go.uwrf.edu/unifiedcom. For issues or concerns, please call the DOTS HelpDesk at 3687.
