Outdoor art installations around campus today, tomorrow

Gradients of color stream down from a tree branch to the ground appearing like sun rays near the Dalkha Garden and Kleinpell Fine Arts building Tuesday. Stretching out yarn for his untitled piece, art (ceramics) major Blake Stolpestad says each color takes three hours to string up. His is one of many temporary art installations, designed by students, on display around campus through Thursday as part of the 24th Annual Outdoor Art Installation. Maps identifying sites are available in the lobby of KFA near Gallery 101. Photo by Kathy M Helgeson.
