Announcements

Data Loss Prevention feature enabled in Office 365
Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is an Office 365 (campus email) feature that is used to help prevent people from accidentally sending sensitive information, which includes credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, ABA routing numbers, U.S./U.K. passport numbers, U.S. bank account numbers or U.S. Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers. If you compose an email message which contains one of these sensitive information types in either the body or an attachment, you will see a message appear in the email composition window reminding you of the risk of sending such information. This feature will be enabled Monday, Sept. 21. For more information, visit https://technology.uwrf.edu/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=5704. Contact DoTS at 3687 or [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> if you have questions.

United Way Campaign
UWRF's United Way Campaign is going on now through Monday, Oct. 5. For those interested in donating, visit Molly Matzek in 218D North Hall to obtain a pledge form or call 3247 and one will be sent to you. Thank you for your support.

CarShare by Enterprise offered again
University Fleet is again offering the CarShare program. Nissan is the corporate sponsor with Enterprise this year and two high-efficiency vehicles are again being offered. Sign-up and utilization are easy! Both vehicles are parked conveniently by Facilities Management with our other fleet vehicles. Enterprise is offering a special offer this fall for a very reasonable price. Unlike fleet, CarShare vehicles can be used for personal travel and for as little as one hour increments, allowing you to basically pay as you go versus trip minimums. International students, students without a vehicle on-campus, faculty/staff who normally walk or bike and have an off-campus personal appointment all have found the convenience beneficial. Check out the CarShare link on the Facilities Management website at http://www.uwrf.edu/Facilities/Index.cfm. If questions, call Facilities Management at 3820.
