Global Connections is now called the Office of International Education to make it easier for students, international and domestic, and their parents to find of the office. Proposed budget cut impact on universities featured on 'The West Side' Monday
The impact of proposed state budget cuts on universities in western Wisconsin will be the focus of discussion on Wisconsin Public Radio’s "The West Side" on Monday, July 13, at 10 a.m. on 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls. Host Rich Kremer will welcome Mike Rindo, assistant chancellor for Facilities and University Relations at UW-Eau Claire, Doug Mell, executive director of University Communications and External Relations at UW-Stout, and Beth Schommer, executive assistant to the Chancellor at UW-River Falls. During the segment, Kremer and guests will focus on steps being taken by universities to adjust to the proposed cuts.
