Falcons play in NCAA Championship semi-final game Friday

Regional Engineering Consortium to be featured on The West Side Monday

The recently formed Northwest Wisconsin Engineering Consortium will be the focus of discussion on Wisconsin Public Radio’s "The West Side" on Monday, March 23, at 10 a.m. on 88.7 WRFW-FM/ River Falls. Host Rich Kremer will be joined by Fernando Delgado, provost and vice-chancellor of academic affairs at University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and Charles Bomar, dean of University of Wisconsin-Stout’s College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Kremer and guests will discuss how the three universities, UW-Eau Claire, UW- River Falls, and UW-Stout, will collaborate together in an effort to generate more engineering graduates and how the collaboration would help fill engineering positions across northwestern Wisconsin.


Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership workshop

Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership is hosting 2015 spring workshops. Exploring the Leader in You” presented by UW-Eau Claire Professor of Management Scott Lester is Friday, April 24, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. At the Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire. Cost is $50 and includes meals and materials. All of us are in situations where we need to exhibit leadership behaviors. In this interactive workshop, you will learn more about your own leadership style and preferences, and the variables that impact your leadership success. The UWRF Provost Office will support a team of six staff members to attend, (includes faculty, academic and classified staff). Experience China program now accepting faculty applications

Applications are now being accepted for the spring 2016, fall 2016, and spring 2017 terms of the Experience China program. Review of applications will begin after Friday, May 1. Classified Staff Advisory Council meeting

The Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) will hold a special meeting on Monday, March 23, at 1:30 p.m. in the Cooklock Room, Davee Library. The only agenda item is a final review of CSAC Bylaw changes and the council's vote on them. The current bylaws and proposed changes may be found on the CSAC website at http://www.uwrf.edu/ClassifiedStaffAdvisoryCouncil/bylaws.cfm.
