Flower sale continues today in UC

Horticulture major Amy Behnken creates a floral arrangement at the UWRF Horticulture Society Annual Valentine's Day Flower Sale Thursday in the UC lobby. An assortment of cut flowers including roses, gerbera daises, lilies, and alstroemerias are for sale. Custom arrangements are available and delivery is available on campus for a small fee. Nominations encouraged for Chancellor's Award for Students
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 Chancellor's Award for Students. The Chancellor's Award recognizes juniors and seniors who possess the qualities of leadership, service, and commitment and acknowledges a student's unique personal traits and skills. Award criteria and nomination information, including the nomination form, are available at http://www.uwrf.edu/Awards/Students/Index.cfm. The deadline to submit nominations is March 12. Open forums for Exercise and Sport Science position candidates
The Health and Human Performance Department will welcome two finalists to campus next week for their tenure-track position opening in Exercise and Sport Science. All UWRF faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend open meetings for each candidate at these times:

Plastic grocery/shopping bags wanted
The UWRF Residence Hall Association (RHA) is collecting plastic bags that you get while grocery or other shopping at like Family Fresh or Wal-Mart/Target, etc. Please drop clean bags off near the information desk in the UC until Friday, Feb. 20. The plastic bags will be turned into soccer balls for under-privileged kids at an upcoming conference that 10 UWRF students  will be attending.
