Announcements

Outstanding Service Award recipient recognized at Commencement Dec. 13
The recipient of the Outstanding Service Award, the highest honor given to an individual or organization outside of UWRF, will be recognized during fall Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. in Knowles Center. This year's recipient is Case IH and Value Implement. Since 2009 Case IH has reached out to UWRF with state-of-the-art agricultural equipment that is used at low cost in the classroom, at the campus farms, and by campus grounds and maintenance crews. The equipment includes tractors/loaders, combines, planters, and tillage and forage equipment. Using the latest in agricultural equipment technology prepares students for the modern workplace and allows the campus to increase efficiency in numerous operations, including snow removal. In addition to providing equipment, Case IH and Value Implement has made cash contributions to support events lead by student organizations to educate the general public about agriculture.
