Please welcome John Carroll to the UWRF Division of Technology Services technical support team. John earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Networking from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 2001, and graduated from UWRF in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Upon graduation John received a commission into the Wisconsin Army National Guard through the Northwoods Battalion ROTC program and attended Blackhawk helicopter flight training at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence at Fort Rucker, Ala. Upon returning to Wisconsin, John spent time working for Geek World and the Waunakee Community School District in addition to flying Blackhawk training and support missions. John's office is located in Davee Library. He can be reached by calling DoTS at 3687.

RED Digital Cinema Camera Demonstration, Thursday, Nov. 20, 12:30 p.m., 112 KFA. Hosted by UWRF Digital Film and Television, RED Cinema ROAD WARRIOR Nick Watkins will be demonstrating RED's latest camera technology used in the top television and film productions such as "House of Cards," "Longmire," "Storage Wars," to "Expendables 3," "Gone Girl," and "The Hobbit." In addition to showcasing the latest in cutting edge cinema technology, attendees may get to try out the gear with hands-on interaction.
