Welcome Montessori guests tomorrow

A classroom of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students from Sunny Hollow Montessori in St. Paul will be visiting campus tomorrow, Nov. 13. Pub Trivia needs faculty, staff, students

Faculty and staff: use your noodle, not google! Compete with or against your students at the last Pub Trivia event of the semester on Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the Falcon’s Nest, UC, from 5-7 p.m. Play as an individual or form teams up to six players. Partake in the original “social network” as pub games have been connecting people for healthy competition since the 1400s. We are working with Minneapolis’ very own Trivia Mafia to host the monthly games. The event is free and open to everyone and includes complementary snacks, beverages, and a cash bar. Smoked turkey sale
Falcon Foods is selling hickory smoked and cured whole turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Completely cooked and ready to eat, the turkeys are $3.50 per pound and are 8-11 pounds each. A discussion of Yu Hua's "To Live:  a Novel" lead by Lissa Schneider-Rebozo, associate professor of English and director of URSCA. An award-winning, internationally acclaimed Chinese bestseller, originally banned in China but recently named one of the last decade's ten most influential books. Free and open to all.
