Artificial turf installation continues on Ramer Field

Temple Grandin tickets sold out

Thanks for everyone's interest in hearing Temple Grandin speak on campus Sept. 24. All available tickets have been sold for the event.


Confidential shredding

Facilities Management will have a mobile shredder on campus Tuesday, Oct. 21. This is a great opportunity to get rid of confidential materials. If you have papers you would like shredded, please pack up the materials and then submit a work order listing the number of boxes and the location the boxes can be picked up. Please keep box sizes reasonable for easy handling. Boxes will only be picked up if they are clearly marked “SHRED.” All work orders must be submitted by Wednesday, Oct.15, so all the boxes can be picked up by the end of the day on Friday, Oct. 17. Boxes will then be kept in a secure storage area until the shredding occurs on Oct. 21.This service is provided free to campus departments. Non-live-in host families needed for international students

International Student Services is looking for new participants for UWRF international students Host Family Program. The Host Family Program is a non-live-in arrangement that promotes cross-cultural experiences and understanding by supporting our international students transition to American cultures and customs. Registration opens Sept. 29 for Fall Gala and NCUR

Fall Gala – For undergraduates to present their URSCA projects, online registration will be open from Sept. 29-Dec. 2 at http://www.uwrf.edu/SURSCA/FallGala.cfm. All disciplines are encouraged to present their research through posters, art displays, short films, Prezi presentations and PowerPoint presentations. The Fall Gala will be held on Tuesday, December 3 from 5-7 p.m. in the Riverview Ballroom, UC. National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR) - Online application is open from Sept. 29-Dec. 2 to submit their abstracts to present at NCUR.  For more information, visit http://www.cur.org/ncur_2015/. Regalia information for December graduates

Please announce to your students: Seniors graduating in December can now pre-order their regalia at http://colleges.herffjones.com/college/uwrfPre-orders are due by Oct. 8. Pick up on Nov. 12 at Countdown to Commencement.
