Opening Week events begin August 25
Please join us for Opening Week events to celebrate the beginning of the 2014 fall semester.  On Monday, Aug. 25, an all-campus open meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Riverview Ballroom, UC, followed by an all-campus hospitality hour on the University Center mall (rainsite is the Falcon’s Nest).   More meetings and activities throughout the week can found on the Opening Week Schedule at http://www.uwrf.edu/OpeningWeekEvents/Fall-2014-Opening-Events.cfm.

North Hall auditorium remodeling underway
North Hall auditorium remodeling is underway. Ross & Associates are staging out of the north side of North Hall, using the small A Lot. Please limit traffic in the NW stairwell of North Hall as much as possible as the contractors will try to keep their travels to that stairwell. Expect some noise and disruption at this point. Plans are for completion during J-Term. Contact Facilities at 3827.

Thursday, Aug. 14, 7 p.m., River Falls Public Library, Creating an Oral History of North Hall. Hosted by history and philosophy Professor Kurt Leichtle. Everyone is invited to become a part of the historical record by participating in this oral history project.
