Early time entry and approval deadline today
There is an early time and absence deadline for student employees, LTEs, and classified permanent staff today. Time and/or absences for hours worked May 4-May 17 must be approved by 10 a.m. today, May 20. If time is not entered and approved this date/time, the employee will not be paid. Greg Wertheimer is the new purchasing agent in Purchasing Services. He started work on May 12 and among other duties, is the primary administrator and point of contact for the campus P-card and MDS programs. Please welcome Greg to our campus.

Hunzer named Falcon Scholars and Honors programs director
I am delighted to announce that Kathleen Hunzer has accepted an offer to serve as the director of the Falcon Scholars and Honors programs for 2014-15.  Kathleen is a professor in the English Department, has been the director of Written Communications since 2008, and has been a member of the Faculty Senate and many university, college, and departmental committees. She has been the recipient of the UWRF Adviser of the Year, the UWRF Compass Award, and the UWRF CAS Service Award. Kathleen will be based in North Hall and will provide leadership to both programs. --Wes Chapin
