Online giving day a huge success

The first ever UWRF Falcon 5K online giving day on May 1 was a huge success. Set with a goal of $5,000 based on results at similar universities, the Falcon 5K received 167 gifts and raised $14,595 in just 12 hours. “The primary objective of the Falcon 5K was to reach new and younger donors. While more than 25% of gifts came from those who graduated in the last 10 years, we received gifts across all age ranges including 36 gifts from new donors to UWRF,” said Sarah French, UWRF Foundation annual giving coordinator. “Also notable is that 42% of the gifts made were from UWRF employees.” Thank you to everyone who participated. For more information, call 3505.
