Nominations for Chancellor's Award for Students due tomorrow
Reminder:  The nomination deadline is tomorrow, March 12, for the Chancellor’s Award for Students. The Chancellor's Award recognizes students who possess the qualities of leadership, service, and commitment and acknowledges a student's unique personal traits and skills. This award is granted to upper class students and is not solely based on scholastic achievement. The recipients will receive the award at the Chancellor's Award Reception for students in April. Thursday, March 13, Abbott Concert Hall, KFA, Music With Flair featuring the Symphony Band and the University Band with Guest Conductor Toni Blasco Lambies of Valencia, Spain. The concert features works of Spanish composers plus a special tribute to the Beatles. Admission is $5/adults, $3/seniors, $2/students. Contact the Music Department at 3183.

Friday, March 14, 9 a.m.-noon, Rodli Hall, Surplus Property Sale. Please enter through the loading dock entrance on the west side of the building. Sale items include, but are not limited to, iMacs, projectors, Dell Laptops, CPUs, desks, tables, filing cabinets, chairs, bookcases, building materials, electronics, cabling, hardware, office supplies, and much more. Friday, March 14, noon, Abbott Concert Hall, KFA, Coffee Concert:  "Slavic Souvenirs." Chamber music by faculty members Ivan Konev, piano; Natalia Moiseeva, violin; and Patrick O’Keefe, clarinet, playing music by Bartok, Stavinsky and Lutoslawski. Free and open to the public. Now You Know

Did you know that not all search results in Google and Bing are safe? In fact many of the advertisements included in search results are purchased by criminals trying to prey upon you. Avoid clicking on the advertisements at the top or on the right hand side of the results listing. Focus instead on the search results themselves. Each of the results have a website address listed, examine those to see if they seem safe and contextually appropriate before you click on them.
