Storm dumps more than 7.5 inches of rain on area

[cid:A38524FC-9369-4C42-BA45-8A94A6D6AB3B]

More than 7.5 inches of rainfall during the early morning hours Monday caused the South Fork of the Kinnickinnic River near the Wall Amphitheatre to overflow the bridge on the walking path and flood the parking lot behind Hathorn Hall. Tonight’s Chill on the Hill free concert at 7 p.m. featuring the Bunny Clogs (folk) may be moved indoors because of soggy grounds at the amphitheatre. A decision will be made later today and signs will be posted if the concert is moved to the Falcon’s Nest, UC. For a schedule of upcoming concerts, including the Minneapolis sensation Hippo Campus on Tuesday, July 21, visit <https://www.uwrf.edu/StudentInvolvement/ActivitiesAndEvents/SummerConcertSeries.cfm> https://www.uwrf.edu/StudentInvolvement/ActivitiesAndEvents/SummerConcertSeries.cfm.
