Audience cheers on undefeated men's hockey team

Students cheer as the undefeated Falcon men's hockey team scores one of seven goals against UW-Stout in the WIAC home opener Thursday at Hunt Arena. Blow Your Own Glass Ornament, Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., 163 KFA. Work with glass students and blow your own glass ornament. Cost is $25 for the first one, additional $10 for the second one. For more information, call the Art Department at 3266.

Women's basketball vs. UW-Eau Claire, Saturday, Dec. 6, 3 p.m., Karges.

University Theatre:  "Peter/Wendy," Saturday, Dec. 6 and Dec. 11-13, 7:30 p.m., Davis Theatre, KFA. The story is similar to the classic tale of Peter Pan, but with a contemporary twist. Tonight's performance will be attended by the playwright of the show, Jeremy Bloom, with post-show discussion immediately following the show. All are invited to attend. Tickets are $12/adults, $9/seniors and $5/students. Call the Box Office at 3114.

RADD Jazz Swing Dance, Saturday, Dec. 6, 7:30 p.m., Falcon's Nest, UC. Guest vocalist Charmin Michelle. Swing dance lessons from the UWRF Swing Dance Club at 7 p.m. with dance to follow. 90-minute Peer-to-Peer Workshop, "Authentic Group Discussion," 3 p.m., Trimbelle River Room, UC. (Same session as offered yesterday.) Peer-to-Peer is a series of workshops supported by a renewal grant and hosted by the Teacher Education Department for college faculty interested in exploring new teaching methods.
