A crowd mingles Tuesday afternoon during a ribbon cutting ceremony for the recently renovated east office addition of the River Falls Municipal Power Plant. The office space will house the new UWRF Center of Innovation and Business Development (CIBD) and the relocated office of the UWRF Small Business Development Center (SBDC). It is designed to connect the region's economic development professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs with better access to university resources including skills of MBA students. As an economic development initiative between UWRF and the City of River Falls, the city is providing the office space free of charge. Photo by Kathy M Helgeson.
