Speaking to a group in the Kinnickinnic Theater Tuesday, UW-River Falls alumnus Ryan Stridde shows off the Emmy that he won while working as a sound technician for NFL Films. Stridde, also a physical education teacher at Unity Elementary School in Balsam Lake, shared how he made contacts with National Football League key personnel as a student. UWRF was the former home to the Kansas City Chiefs training camp, and Stridde helped out during the camp after taking Digital Film and Television classes. He continued to gain experience through those contacts and maintains his position as an enhanced audio technician for the NFL, covering home games for either the Green Bay Packers or the Minnesota Vikings.
