The Opportunity Fair offers possibilities

Today is final day to submit ideas on proposed budget cuts
If you haven't already done so, please take a moment to submit your cost saving suggestions to help address the anticipated base budget cuts to our campus. Today is the final day the survey is open.

Budget planning process timeline

Open forums for Exercise and Sport Science position candidates
The Health and Human Performance Department welcomes two finalists next week for a tenure-track position in Exercise and Sport Science. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend at the open forums:

Participation encouraged in Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day Feb. 24
UWRF will join more than 100 educational institutions across the world in the third annual Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day, a global initiative to increase student understanding of philanthropy and to grow engagement on campuses, on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Please encourage students to stop by our booth in the Falls Room, UC, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to personalize and complete thank you cards for selected donors. Faculty and staff are welcomed to join us, too. A time lapsed video will capture the development of our message board spelling out “Thank You” which will be shared on our social media networks and the cards will then be mailed directly to our donors. Campus Red Cross Blood Drive, Tuesday-Thursday, Feb. 24-26, noon-6 p.m., Lydecker Living Learning Center. The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.

UWRF will host a WIAC first-round playoff men's basketball game on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m., in Karges. The opponent won't be known until Sunday, Feb. 22.
