Women's hockey kicks off season with a win

The women's hockey team kicked off their season with a repeat win over St. Thomas, who they met in the NCAA third place championship game last season. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, both the women's hockey team and the volleyball team will host first round WIAC tournament games. Open forums for Assistant Director of Counseling Services
Open forums will be held this week for the two finalists for the position of Assistant Director of Counseling Services.

Flex Spending and Health Savings Account enrollment deadlines extended
The deadline to enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Program, the Health Savings Account (HSA) and Transportation/Parking for 2015 has been extended through Friday, Nov. 7, at 4:30 p.m. In addition, the annual contribution limit for the Healthcare Flexible Spending Account and Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account has increased from $2,500 to $2,550. Call Eric Sterner at 3109 if questions.

General Election tomorrow

Edward N. Peterson Lecture:  "Time, Space, and China's Tibetan Frontier in the 20th Century," Tuesday, Nov. 4, reception at 4 p.m., lecture at 4:30 p.m., Kinnickinnic Theater, UC. Year of China event presented by Xiaoyuan Liu, David Dean professor of East Asian Studies and professor of History, University of Virginia. Liu's talk will highlight a number of historical junctures of the twentieth century, at which the Chinese, Tibetan, and other interested parties—including the United States and India—took different political stances on the Tibetan question and defined the question in dissimilar time frames and geographic areas.
