UWRF will host the April meeting of the UW System Board of Regents this week, April 10 and 11. This is a special occasion as the Regents meet on our campus only once every seven years. You are welcome to attend any of the open meetings and are encouraged to attend the full board meeting at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday in the Riverview Ballroom, where Chancellor Van Galen will make a presentation highlighting the unique strengths of and strategic direction for UWRF. An agenda for the meeting can be found at http://www.uwsa.edu/bor/agenda/2014/april-outline.pdf.

Bicycle safety reminder
With the return of warm weather, bicycles are once again moving around campus. Please use the racks (not trees or poles) to secure your bike when not in use, running the cable through the frame as well as the front wheel to prevent theft.

If it is potentially life threatening or if you're in doubt, call 911
Reminder: If you observe a medical emergency on campus, you should call 911 (once you have secured an outside line), even in the victim requests that you not do this. River Falls Emergency Medical Services (ambulance) only charges if the person is assessed, treated, or transported. A person may refuse any services or transport once the ambulance arrives. Staff in University Police and Student Health Services do not have the training and equipment to respond to and treat persons with medical emergencies. It is vital to get trained individuals and appropriate equipment to the scene to assist the victim as soon as possible. Contact Alice Reilly-Myklebust, director of Student Health and Counseling Service, at 3293.
