Announcements

Return keys before leaving campus

As the end of the semester approaches, faculty/staff with expiring contracts or retirements need to return UWRF keys to Facilities Management. If there is a possibility that a new contract will be assigned next fall, we can hold the keys for reassignment. Student workers graduating or not employed over the summer need to return keys. It is the employing departments responsibility to recover keys before employee departs campus. The Building Access Policy can be found at https://www.uwrf.edu/Administration/Policy/Facilities/upload/AP-04-101-BUILDING-ACCESS.pdf. If you have any questions, call Facilities Management at 3827.

Summer hours begin May 18

Summer hours will begin on Monday, May 18, and continue through Friday, Aug. 21. UWRF will again authorize flexible hours during the summer. Employees, with supervisor approval, can work any eight hours between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The scheduling of personnel (faculty, staff and student) assigned to each office will be left to the immediate supervisor’s discretion. For example, the supervisor may want to rotate his/her staff on a biweekly basis between the 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift (with a 30-minute lunch) and the 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. shift. This would result in employee “A” working the first biweekly period on the 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift (with a 30-minute lunch) and the next biweekly period on the 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. shift. We will continue the policy requiring offices that serve the general public (see AP-06-110) be open during the hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
