The Plant and Earth Science Department is sponsoring an off-campus activity and a student in your course might miss class time.  The offices of the Provost and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs require that students provide this notice to you no later than one week prior to their scheduled activity to be in compliance with appropriate policies.  Your consideration in allowing them to complete course assignments and work in compliance with these university's policies* is appreciated.  Thank you for your support and cooperation. Dates & Times: Thursday, April 12th. Departure at 6 am, return on Sunday, April 15th at 5 pm
Activity: SASES (Students of Agronomy, Soils, and Environmental Sciences) Regional Conference, Lincoln, Nebraska
Academic Rationale for Absence: Students in Crops and Soils, Sustainable Ag, and Environmental Science will be attending this conference to learn about the latest developments in the industry and to network with peers from across the country and people in the agricultural industry. This conference provides an excellent opportunity for exchange of ideas among students and interaction with professionals.
