The Agricultural Engineering Technology Department is sponsoring an off-campus activity and a student in your course might miss class time.  The offices of the Provost and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs require that students provide this notice to you no later than one week prior to their scheduled activity to be in compliance with appropriate policies.  Your consideration in allowing them to complete course assignments and work in compliance with these university's policies* is appreciated.  Thank you for your support and cooperation. Dates & Times ("activities should not be scheduled during the final exam period or one week prior to final examinations"): Departing at 9:00 am on 02/15 and returning at 12:00 pm on 02/15
Activity: Field trip for AET 325 Alternative Energy Systems to visit and have a facility tour of Ace Ethanol, LLC. Location is at 815 W Maple St, Stanley, WI 54768.
Academic Rationale for Absence: This field trip is an excellent opportunity for the students to learn about corn bioethanol production process (dry milling process).
