The offices of the Provost and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs require that students provide this notice to you no later than one week prior to their scheduled activity to be in compliance with appropriate policies. Your consideration in allowing them to complete course assignments and work in compliance with these university’s policies* is appreciated. Thank you for your support and cooperation. Additional details are below.
Dates & Times (“activities should not be scheduled during the final exam period or one week prior to final examinations”): Departure October 26, 2017 after 3pm and Return October 29, 2017
Activity: ACUI Region V Regional Conference at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee
Academic Rationale for Absence: It is the goal of the University Center to provide an educational experience to the student leaders below who are responsible for facilitating the operation of the University Center.
The union is the community center of the college, serving students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests… A college union is an organization offering a variety of programs, activities, services, and facilities that, when taken together, represent a well-considered plan for the community life of the college.
