The following students 
will be off campus 
during the week of 
October 28 – November 1 
attending the National 
FFA Convention & Expo 
and the National 
Agricultural Education 
Conference & ATA 
Conclave in Louisville, 
KY.  This week-long 
event provides our 
students’ opportunities 
to compete in discipline 
related competitive 
events, attend 
professional development 
events, meet with 
potential employers 
regarding internships 
and future employment 
opportunities, and 
network with peers, 
educators, government 
leaders and employers 
from across the 
country.  Furthermore, a 
number of these students 
are or will be serving 
in leadership roles 
associated with this 
event.  

This National event 
brings together over 
50,000 high school and 
collegiate students from 
across the country, and 
for many of our students 
is the culmination of 
more than 5 years of 
work and preparation.  
As this is a week-long 
event, UWRF students may 
be attending at 
different times.
