The Art Department is sponsoring an off-campus activity and a student in your course might miss class time.  The offices of the Provost and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs require that students provide this notice to you no later than one week prior to their scheduled activity to be in compliance with appropriate policies. Activity: Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Minneapolis
Academic Rationale for Absence: Drawing I will be preforming research and for the final project pertaining to the history, application and rational of self-portraiture and portraiture. Additionally, the class will be researching alternative methods for artwork presentation in the form of book arts.
