The Health and Human Performance Department is sponsoring an off-campus activity and a student in your course might miss class time.  The offices of the Provost and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs require that students provide this notice to you no later than one week prior to their scheduled activity to be in compliance with appropriate policies.  Your consideration in allowing them to complete course assignments and work in compliance with these university’s policies* is appreciated.  Thank you for your support and cooperation. Activity: Trollhaugen Aerial Adventure Course
Academic Rationale for Absence: In PED 301- Foundations of Outdoor Leadership, students learn about various models of human behavior that are utilized in outdoor/adventure education environments. Students will be testing three psychophysiological models through their participation in this experience, which is provided to mimic the conditions of a typical adventure experience.
