The Health and Human Performance Department is sponsoring an off-campus activity and a student in your course might miss class time. The offices of the Provost and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs require that students provide this notice to you no later than one week prior to their scheduled activity to be in compliance with appropriate policies. Your consideration in allowing them to complete course assignments and work in compliance with these university’s policies* is appreciated. Thank you for your support and cooperation. Dates & Times: Thurday, Friday – November 10th & 11th from 8am to 3pm.  
Activity:  Minnesota Health and Physical Education State Conference and workshop.  Wayzata high school, Plymouth, Mn
Academic Rationale for Absence:  Our Physical Education/Health majors will be able to see presenters that are leaders in the field of Health and Physical Education.  They will learn the latest best practices from those leaders and also be able to network with teachers from around the state of Minnesota.  Learning how to keep your teaching alive through conference attendance is an important too
