The following students have 
been selected to attend the the 
AAHPERD Midwest District 
Leadership Conference. Alissa 
Adams, Phil White, Shelby 
Mchesney, Logan Radle, and 
Jamal Clarke.
These students will take part in 
the American Alliance for 
Health, Physical Education, 
Recreation, and Dance 
leadership Conference, They will 
represent UW-River Falls and 
the northwest area of Wisconsin. 
The Midwest District conducts 
an annual leadership conference 
for undergraduate students 
through its Council of Future 
Professionals (CFP). Held in 
conjunction with the Midwest 
District Leadership Conference 
for district officers, the CFP 
conference features 
programming for future 
professionals and interaction 
with the professional leaders. 


Attendees will network with 
fellow students from Illinois, 
Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, West 
Virginia, and Wisconsin. The 
conference will help students to 
establish meaningful 
professional contacts and make 
lifetime friends in addition to 
developing leadership and 
teamwork skills. The dates are 
from October 3rd to October 
5th in Pokegan, Indiana.
