Activity:
The model United Nations Club will participate in the annual Arrowhead Model United Nations Conference at Mankato State University.  They will depart at about 2:00 p.m. on April 18 and return by 3 p.m. on April 21.
Academic Rationale for Absence:
The model UN conference involves students representing countries in simulations of the United Nations bodies (e.g. the Political and Security Committee).  This requires that they research the countries that they represent, learn about issues tied to specific resolutions that will be debated, and learn other skills, such as negotiation, and teamwork.
