The Plant and Earth Science Department is sponsoring an off-campus activity and a student in your course might miss class time.  The offices of the Provost and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs require that students provide this notice to you no later than one week prior to their scheduled activity to be in compliance with appropriate policies.  Your consideration in allowing them to complete course assignments and work in compliance with these university’s policies* is appreciated.  Thank you for your support and cooperation. Dates & Times: Thursday, April 20- Sunday 22, 2017 at 8:00am until 5:00pm
Activity: Crop and Soils Club participation in 2017 meeting of SASES (Regional Students of Agronomy  Soil and Environmental Sciences) in Brooking, SD
Academic Rationale for Absence: Students will attend the 2017 annual meeting of SASES in order to learn about current research trends in Agronomy and network with fellow agronomy students as part of their club activities
