announcement: The Mathematics Department will hold weekly meetings each Monday at 3:10 p.m. in NH 205 for the purpose of conducting departmental business such as planning departmental activities, departmental assessment, curricular issues, facility issues, consideration of student issues, personnel-related planning, and other departmental business as required to meet its institutional responsibilities. The first meeting will be held on Monday, 1/23/2017 and the final meeting on Monday 5/1/2017. Where necessary (e.g., for discussion of personnel issues or student grade issues) the meetings may go into closed session per Wisconsin Statutes §19.85 (1)(c).
