The Health and Human Performance Department is sponsoring an off-campus activity and a student in your course might miss class time.  The offices of the Provost and the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs require that students provide this notice to you no later than one week prior to their scheduled activity to be in compliance with appropriate policies.  Your consideration in allowing them to complete course assignments and work in compliance with these university’s policies* is appreciated.  Thank you for your support and cooperation. Activity: UWRF Mental Health Week event, Falcon’s Nest, 11 – 1 Thursday, April 5th, 2018
Academic Rationale for Absence: As a requirement of the HEAL 465 course (Health Education Promotion & Planning), students must participate in a professional development opportunity. UWRF clinic, specifically mental health counselors, have agreed to partner with HEAL 465 students in order to meet this requirement. Students will work side by side with UWRF clinic staff during the event.
