Academic Rationale for Absence: This course provides an overview pK‐12 and postsecondary level school‐based agricultural education and extension education. Students will learn about the historical development, purposes, components, and current issues associated with these programs. Career opportunities and professional responsibilities of agricultural and extension educators will also be explored.
