Kyle Brokken takes photos as the preschool classes at the C.H.I.L.D Center use the new outdoor musical instruments bought with memorial funds for his late wife,  Hilree Jean Hamilton, who was an associate professor of music at UWRF from 1998 to early 2011 when she died after a two-year battle with cancer. Construction Update: Spruce Street Closures this Wednesday/Thursday

Water main installation will require the closure of Cascade Ave/Spruce Street intersection next week on Wednesday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and perhaps again on Thursday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. if necessary to complete. Initial emergency access for Police/Fire, and Ambulance to Spruce Street south of Cascade Avenue can be made via the concrete walk on the south side of Stratton Hall as shown below.  In the event of a larger emergency, contractor will reestablish access through Cascade/Spruce.

In addition to original compositions, the trio will also be performing music by Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius, John Scofield, Dan Stein, and Tony Williams. Open to the public - free admission.
