"After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." -- Aldous Huxley

The gift of music

Kyle Brokken takes photos as the preschool classes at the C.H.I.L.D Center use the new outdoor musical instruments bought with memorial funds for his late wife,  Hilree Jean Hamilton, who was an associate professor of music at UWRF from 1998 to early 2011 when she died after a two-year battle with cancer. Submitted photo.

Friday's photo caption featuring Becky Ponick incorrectly stated her record throw as 41.60 feet and it was actually 41.60 meters.
